Teremana Reposado Tequila is the product of dedication, craftsmanship, and community. Founded by global icon Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Teremana was born out of a vision to create high-quality tequila that remains true to the traditions of Jalisco, Mexico. The name Teremana combines two meaningful words: “Tere” from the Latin word for earth and “Mana” from the Polynesian word for spirit, reflecting the brand’s deep respect for the land and its people.

Handcrafted in the Highlands of Jalisco

Teremana Reposado is made from 100% mature blue Weber agave, hand-harvested in the highlands of Jalisco. Each agave piña is roasted in traditional brick ovens, allowing the agave to release its sweet, natural flavors. The crushed piñas are processed with a stone tahona, a centuries-old method that brings out a robust and nuanced flavor in the tequila. 

The tequila undergoes a meticulous distillation process in handmade copper pot stills, where each batch is crafted with precision to maintain the highest standards of quality. Teremana Reposado is then aged for a minimum of two months in American oak barrels, imparting soft, balanced notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak, with hints of citrus and rich agave.

A Commitment to Sustainability

Beyond its commitment to tradition, Teremana is also dedicated to sustainability. The distillery recycles the leftover agave fibers to create compost for local farms, and rainwater is captured to reduce waste, aligning with the company’s eco-friendly practices.
