El Goru 38 Barrels is a premium red wine from Ego Bodegas, located in the Jumilla region of southeastern Spain. This wine is a blend of 85% Monastrell and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted from organically grown grapes. The 2020 vintage underwent a week-long cold maceration, followed by temperature-controlled malolactic fermentation. It was then aged for 12 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, with only 38 barrels selected for the final blend, hence the name.
